Flashbacks. Some stages were genuinely scary to even get to this point. Amazing to see how far we’ve come. Grateful for the old house hanging in there for us🙏😬

Stone steel and ICF. It looks like a great mess but it’s progress to us. Always hard to deconstruct any part of the old house but as we were widening the ope and raising the old windows (along with major disrepair already that was evident hence the 🙅‍♀️) we grit our teeth and did what had to be done. Got some steel frame in there at the end of the week too👍😅

Progress😬 and a nice little surprise (besides the many 🕷 ones). It’s hard to take anything down off these old buildings but necessary to protect and bring it into a liveable state so they can be around for many more years to come!

There’s a house in there...

Next big project- my house! Loving the beauty and honesty of these materials. And of course the beautiful sky. Onwards and upwards!

And that’s a wrap for my @butlerhousekk Print! (Not the easiest to photograph) Come down and see it along with all the other @blackstack_studio_kilkenny prints in response to the beautiful #butlerhouse and gardens Kilkenny. Exhibition opens 10 August as part of @aka_kilkenny

Drawing stage complete😬 Looking forward to getting cutting👍 This piece is going to be blind embossed so will have to go about it a bit differently... but perhaps I’ll print the centre square🤔

Scanning Irish hedgerows for the right botanical inspiration. Too much beauty to choose from!! #ireland #irishhedgerows #art #botanicalart #linoprint #linoblock #printmaking #sketch #australianartist #kilkenny #printmaker #blackstackstudio #fineartprint #printexhibition #butlerhousekilkenny

Plotting out this piece for @butlerhousekk exhibition with @blackstack_studio_kilkenny and wishing there were more hours in a day😬 ...and I said this would be simple this time... #sketch #visualdiary #linoprint #linoprintart #linoprintartist #printmaker #printmaking #fineartprintstudio #blackstackstudio #kilkenny #butlerhousekilkenny #australianartist #livinginireland

Printed and ready to number for my contribution to @blackstack_studio_kilkenny box sets for this year. I don’t generally work this small (19x19) and every year it encourages me to do something different. It’s a bit fun too👍 #printstudio #blackstackstudio #kilkenny #fineartprintmaking #printmakers #printmaker #linocut #linocutprint #linocutart #australianprintmaker #australianartist #livinginireland #art #artistsoninstagram
