Flashbacks. Some stages were genuinely scary to even get to this point. Amazing to see how far we’ve come. Grateful for the old house hanging in there for us🙏😬

Stone steel and ICF. It looks like a great mess but it’s progress to us. Always hard to deconstruct any part of the old house but as we were widening the ope and raising the old windows (along with major disrepair already that was evident hence the 🙅‍♀️) we grit our teeth and did what had to be done. Got some steel frame in there at the end of the week too👍😅

Progress😬 and a nice little surprise (besides the many 🕷 ones). It’s hard to take anything down off these old buildings but necessary to protect and bring it into a liveable state so they can be around for many more years to come!

Next big project- my house! Loving the beauty and honesty of these materials. And of course the beautiful sky. Onwards and upwards!
